We are able to provide information concerning visa and health requirements as well as up to date Foreign Office advice, which is received from them as it occurs.

We also process visa applications rapidly and are able to supply all necessary forms on demand. For those countries subscribing to electronic visa approvals, applications can be processed on an automated basis directly by ourselves.

Traveller's Cheques & Currency

It's always essential to take travel money with you on an overseas trip. At The Travellers’ Friend we offer a comprehensive range of travellers cheques and foreign currency notes as well as other currency-related services. Remember: the euro is now the legal currency in the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal and Spain. The three EU countries that have not adopted the euro are the UK, Sweden and Denmark.

If you are travelling to any of these 12 countries, you will need to take euro currency or euro Traveller's Cheques. All local currencies were redundant with effect from 1 March 2002.

For approved clients we are able to establish credit facilities. Alternatively, if clients prefer we are happy to accept all credit/charge cards for payment and can advise on lodged or corporate credit card accounts which may have both cash flow and extended credit options as well as providing extra bonuses and privileges to clients and their executives.

Complimentary & Expedient Document Service

We are pleased to provide a complimentary service for travel documentation to ensure documents arrive safely prior to your departure. If necessary, arrangements will be made for tickets to be available on departure.
